By creating an account or using the Be a Bee app or website, you agree to these terms.

1. What we provide

Be a Bee is a platform that helps clubs organize volunteer work. We offer a mobile app and a web dashboard. We do our best to keep the service stable and usable, but we don't guarantee specific uptime or availability.

2. Your account

• You're responsible for keeping your password confidential.
• You use valid contact details.
• One account per person. Don't share login credentials.
• You're at least 16 years old.

3. Acceptable use

You don't use the service to:

• threaten, harass or deceive other users;
• post or distribute illegal content;
• send spam, phishing or malware;
• overload or reverse-engineer the service;
• access other users' accounts or our infrastructure without authorization.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

4. Content you create

What you create in the app (tasks, messages, descriptions) remains yours. You grant Be a Bee a license to display that content to other members within your club, as needed to provide the service.

5. Subscriptions and payment

• The free tier is intended for evaluation and small clubs.
• Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout.
• You can cancel your subscription anytime via Profile → Club admin → Subscription.
• No refunds for already-paid periods, except where required by law.

6. Termination

You can delete your account anytime via the app (Profile → Settings → Delete account). We may terminate accounts for violations or if we discontinue the service — in the latter case we'll give at least 30 days notice.

7. No warranties

The service is provided "as is". We can't guarantee the app will always work without errors or that data won't be lost. Keep your own backups of important information where appropriate.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the past 12 months (or €50 if you're a free user). We're not liable for indirect damages.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. For material changes you'll receive an in-app or email notice; continued use after 14 days counts as acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be brought before the competent court in the Netherlands.
